Common knowledge of electrostatic flocking fluff:
Fleece can be classified by material as follows: felt, nylon, imported, acrylic, cotton, etc.
According to specifications: commonly used fluff length is measured in millimeters, and fluff thickness is measured in D. For example: 1.5DX0.5mm. Meaning: The fuzz thickness is 1.5D and the length is 0.5 millimeters. The commonly used fluff length is 0.3mm-4mm, and the thickness is 0.8D-25D.
The commonly used fluff mainly includes adhesive fluff, nylon fluff, high-end wire mesh flocking, and special specification nylon 66 fluff. The grade of fluff, the effect of flocking, durability, abrasion resistance, appearance, and hand feel also vary depending on the price.
Types of electrostatic flocking printing adhesives and specifications of fluff
a、 Resin adhesive: characterized by low price and high adhesion. 191 unsaturated resin is suitable for flocking on substrates such as plastic, rubber, PVC, glass, etc.
b、 Plastic flocking adhesive: suitable for PVC, PET, vacuum formed sheets, and various plastics.
c、 Imported flocking adhesive (German made, Nissan made), mainly used for flocking specific adhesives in clothing, fabrics, etc.
d、 Blended paint: can be used as a bonding agent for various substrate flocking.
e、 White latex: Its performance is superior to polyvinyl alcohol and can be used as a bonding agent for wood, glass, and wall flocking.
f、 Specialized flocking adhesive for wire mesh flocking: mainly used for flocking cloth, artificial leather, clothing wire mesh flocking, screen printing calligraphy and painting, etc. The characteristics are softness after drying, resistance to washing, dry cleaning, friction, strong adhesion, and no shedding of fibers.
g、 The principle of choosing which adhesive to use for flocking is to consider whether the bonding between the adhesive and the substrate is firm, while flocking is suitable for any type of adhesive.
